Sprintax, part of Clune Tech, is a web-based tax return preparation software that provides a number of tax related services to non-residents in the United States. We help thousands of international visitors such as students, scholars, teachers, trainees, researchers, work and travel participants and other foreign individuals that are temporary in the United States each year with the preparation of their tax returns.
About the role:
Sprintax is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own and drive the Dividends product portfolio. Dividends is the company’s highest-growth opportunity, encompassing multiple product lines including cross-border dividend withholding tax reclaim, an intermediary platform, and a greenfield product in development with a strategic customer partner. The successful candidate will define product strategy, validate market opportunities, and frame initiatives for a dedicated delivery team comprising a Technical Lead, Product Owner, UX designer, QAs, and developers, and will also support the development of a Product Owner who is growing into the role, helping to establish effective working patterns between product management and delivery. As one, you will report directly to the Chief Product Officer, this role offers significant autonomy and ownership within a small, fast-moving team environment.
Responsibilities:
Define and communicate product strategy for the Dividends portfolio in collaboration with the CPO and key stakeholders·
Facilitate working sessions with the Technical Lead, Product Owner, and domain experts to build shared understanding of requirements·
Engage directly with customers and prospects to identify pain points, validate demand, and gather evidence of willingness to pay before committing engineering resources·
Drive quarterly planning cycles, setting priorities and aligning the delivery team around the highest-impact work for each quarter·
Build and maintain a product roadmap with stakeholder buy-in across sales, engineering, and leadership·
Support and mentor the Product Owner in establishing effective backlog management, refinement practices, and collaboration with the delivery team·
Partner with the Technical Lead on technical feasibility and architectural trade-offs·
Coordinate go-to-market activities for feature releases with sales, marketing, and operations·
Build competitive intelligence to inform product positioning and strategy·
Own pricing and packaging strategy in collaboration with sales, marketing, and finance.
What you'll own:
Product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Dividends portfolio
Initiative framing and prioritisation across multiple productlines
Market validation and customer discovery to ensure engineering investment is directed at problems customers will pay to solve
Stakeholder alignment across sales, engineering, and leadership
Requirements:
3+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or fintech·
Demonstrated experience taking products from early stage through growth·
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities·
Experience with customer discovery and market validation techniques·
Comfortable writing concise initiative briefs and facilitating collaborative requirements sessions rather than producing detailed specification documents·
Ability to operate across strategic and tactical levels·
Strong stakeholder management and consensus-building skills·
Comfortable with ambiguity and competing priorities across multiple product lines·
Familiarity with AI tools and an openness to applying them in product management workflows.
Preferred:
Tax, financial services, or compliance domain knowledge·
Experience working alongside a Product Owner in a PM/PO operating model·
Experience coaching or developing junior product team members·
Background in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent product initiatives·
Experience working directly with engineering teams on complex technical products.
