Sprintax, part of Clune Tech, is a web-based tax return preparation software that provides a number of tax related services to non-residents in the United States. We help thousands of international visitors such as students, scholars, teachers, trainees, researchers, work and travel participants and other foreign individuals that are temporary in the United States each year with the preparation of their tax returns.
About the role:
The Ad Operations Manager owns the day-to-day execution quality of our paid campaigns. You’ll traffic, QA, and optimize ads across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Bing and more, ensuring accurate tracking, clean naming/UTMs, and reliable delivery. Partnering with Account Managers and Country Leads, you’ll pace budgets, hit market targets (tCPL, ROAS, lead volume), and turn performance data into clear actions. You’ll also maintain playbooks, troubleshoot platform issues, and mentor junior specialists so we launch fast, learn quickly, and scale what works.
Responsibilities:
Ownership:
End-to-end trafficking & QA of digital ad campaigns across Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Bing, etc.
Platform administration: pixels/tags, conversions, UTMs, naming conventions.
Budget pacing and performance tracking for assigned markets/channels.
Reporting cadence (weekly/monthly/quarterly) with actionable insights.
Stakeholder coordination with Account Managers and Country (Tax) Managers.
Playbooks & standards for campaign setup, QA, and troubleshooting; mentor juniors.
Main responsibilities:
Set up, launch, and optimize campaigns (keywords/audiences, bids/budgets, exclusions, ad copy/creatives, extensions).
Run strict QA: trafficking checks, URL/UTM validation, conversion and event integrity, brand safety.
Diagnose and resolve delivery/tracking issues; collaborate with platforms and internal teams to fix discrepancies.
Conduct keyword and competitive research; recommend landing-page/on-page improvements with Content/WEB teams.
Hit market targets (tCPL, ROAS, lead volume); reallocate spend to highest-ROI campaigns.
Maintain dashboards; produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with clear next actions.
Contribute ad copy/assets; A/B test creatives and landing pages; document learnings.
Mentor junior specialists; uphold SOPs, checklists, and error-rate standards.
Requirements:
Key competencies:
Bachelors Degree
Hands-on experience in performance marketing/ad operations within demand-gen organizations (B2B and/or B2C; multi-market).
Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads (and/or Bing); strong grasp of account structure, bidding, audiences, negatives.
Solid tracking & analytics: GA4, tag/pixel setup (GTM or platform), UTM governance; confident in Excel/Sheets.
Detail-obsessed with QA; strong communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred competencies:
Experience with B2B and B2C SAAS campaigns along all the marketing funnel.
Experience with classic Search, PMax and AI Max, Demand Gen and combination of them; remarketing, and offline conversion imports.
Exposure to CRO/A-B testing, landing-page iteration, and collaboration with web teams.
BI/CRM familiarity (e.g., Looker/Power BI, HubSpot/Salesforce).
Basic automation (rules/scripts), and familiarity with server-side tracking.
Relevant certifications (Google Ads/Analytics, Meta).
